How It Works
Telehealth consultations are extremely similar to traditional face-to-face consultations.
It’s as simple as (1) clicking the ‘Book now’ button, (2) selecting your preferred date and time, and then (3) filling out a few details.
If you are a new patient, you will need to send reception the documents listed on FAQ-for patients to book an appointment. Please send to: reception@tst.clinic
You do not need to download or install any special apps; just ensure you’re using a relatively modern web browser and that your device has a camera, microphone, and speakers.
The day before your consultation, you will receive a link to join your video appointment.

Dr. Tiberiu Sebastian Tanase
Psychiatric Services
Dr. Tanase, a consultant psychiatrist with over a decade of experience in mental health, delivers personalised care for a wide range of disorders. His specialties include treating ADHD, mood and anxiety disorders, and psychotic disorders using a blend of psychological strategies and medication.
About Dr. Tanase
Throughout his psychiatric training within the Northern Sydney Local Health District, Dr. Tanase served across several prominent hospitals, including Hornsby Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital, Macquarie Hospital, Ryde Hospital, Nepean Hospital, and Wyong Hospital. He is an esteemed fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) and a member of the Australian ADHD Professionals Association (AADPA). He is also trained in transcranial magnetic stimulation therapy (TMS).

Ms. Julia Segal
Julia is a Nurse Practitioner specialising in mental health, with more than 20 years’ experience across hospitals, emergency departments and mental health services in Australia and the United States.
She currently leads a specialist hospital mental health service in Melbourne and also provides care via telehealth. Julia practises trauma-informed care and supports people experiencing anxiety, depression, crisis, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, major life stress, and mental health concerns that sit alongside physical illness. She also offers thorough ADHD assessments for people aged 16 and over.
In her sessions, Julia provides a calm, unhurried and non-judgemental space. She takes a holistic approach, explains things clearly, and works with you to build a realistic plan, so you always have a say in your care. Her broad understanding of the health system means she can help you make sense of your options and connect you with the right support when needed.

Mrs. Lesley Maher
Lesley is a qualified counsellor with extensive experience supporting people with diverse learning and mental health needs. She holds a BA (Hons) in Psychology and Theology and a Diploma in Counselling (CHC51015), alongside a long career in UK education that included qualified teacher status and a headship qualification. Across all year levels (K–12), Lesley has supported students with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, specific learning difficulties, and complex social-emotional needs, and has worked extensively with Aboriginal students. She is an expert in trauma-informed practice, addiction support, and the impacts of intergenerational and situational trauma.
In her practice, Lesley offers both coaching and therapeutic support, drawing on evidence to build individualised care programs. Group appointments and prepaid coaching packages are also available, with flexible appointment times including some after-hours availability.
